Leonard Slatkin returns to the radio airwaves with his new program, “The Slatkin Shuffle,” which will debut this weekend on Classic 107.3, the Voice for the Arts in St. Louis. The show will air for the first time tonight, Saturday May 4, at 10 p.m. CDT, immediately following Slatkin’s concert with the St. Louis Symphony Orchestra at Powell Hall. The two-hour show will repeat at its regularly scheduled times of Sundays at 4 p.m. and Tuesdays at 7 p.m. Slatkin will play selections from the nearly 10,000 tracks on his iPad, chosen at random, and will share anecdotes about the eclectic collection of songs in his playlist.
