Naxos has released the next installment in the Orchestre National de Lyon’s recording cycle of the works of Maurice Ravel. This disc highlights the composer’s incomparable skill in orchestrating such pieces as Chabrier’s Menuet pompeux, Debussy’s Sarabande et Danse, Schumann’s Carnaval, and Mussorgsky’s Pictures at an Exhibition.
