Maestro Slatkin will participate in seminars and critiqued conducting sessions with early-career conductors, guiding them on subjects including modern score analysis and practical guides for the rehearsal, interpretation and performance of contemporary works.

Leonard Slatkin serves as the chairman of the jury for the 55th edition of the Besançon International Competition for Young Conductors.
